AVOID AT ALL COSTS- they all lied about why I had to reschedule because they are lazy. I had scheduled an appointment weeks before to service my iPhone battery. I showed up and they told me no we don’t have anyone available, then changed it to “we have one guy but he’s only available till 5 and it takes 3 hours to change an iPhone battery”. Questioned them again and was told “you scheduled it through apple and they don’t know what technicians we have so it’s on them, you can try again tomorrow”. I called apple and they told me Best Buy sets the schedule. I would go anywhere else.
Placing a phone call to your “Local” Best Buy location is an expertise in frustration. Your call is first answered by a chat bot that won’t let you get to a representative, next you get routed to an offshore operation that speaks very broken English and doesn’t understand your question, lastly they offer to give you the number to your “Local” store and guess what it was the same one I called that got me to the offshore support. Very upset, basically unless you drive to your local store your not going to speak to anyone who can help you!
Geek Squad employee stole my bank account info when I bought a new computer and made charges to my account. Mesa police got involved. Ever since then Geek Squad tries to charge me for a subscription every year and just did it again and my credit card holder won’t believe me that I would never have a subscription with any entity at Best Buy and they are saying I have to pay since I can’t prove I cancelled something I never signed up for in the first place. I have to cancel my card to get rid of all these and future dishonest charges.
