So I will not review work, as I had none done. However I will review the parts bit. I love to support local, however I can not support this shop. Counter intuitively I walked in expecting to see parts for sale, new or used, didn’t matter. However I was presented with, flat “no” to my parts acquisition requests. And a “we are more repair, than parts shop”. Ok I understand that. Flat out get rid of parts plainly posted on the window. And if you can get it in, offer that. The atmosphere was more snooty gun shop than computer repair, parts, buy, sell… hate to post a review like this and I usually wouldn’t. However as it was recommended to me to go for parts I needed because the owners are awesome (from someone who knew them) I was taken aback by what I experienced.

When my laptop touchscreen shattered, I went to GJ Computer Center for help. Immediately I was impressed that they gave me a repair-cost range and admitted that if the part was toward the top of the range, it might not be worth it to repair. The part ended up being affordable, so the techs at GJ Computer Center fixed it for me in less than a day. They charged me separately for parts and labor so I could be sure I wasn’t getting overcharged. Great service, great communication, and speedy repair. I’ll definitely hire these guys again!
