If you have an actual computer problem I would not recommend this place, I took it in on Tuesday because I bought a used ryzen 9 3900 and it was not booting to windows properly, I asked if they could look at it and get it working, Diagnosis was $99, I call Wednesday to ask about my pc, Maxwell (wont say real names so i will refer to the repair tech as maxwell) says its a bad ROM and the bios wasn’t properly installed, I call Thursdays to ask about the pc again, They told me they’ll tell maxwell to call me once he gets in, doesn’t call, I have to call to ask how my pc is coming along, He says he will need more time and I assure him if he needs time that’s not an issue, I call Friday and maxwell accuses me of calling “15 times” and not letting them work on my pc, I tell them that it’s fine and that if they need more time it’s fine, They say I can get my pc Monday, I call Monday and my pc is ready, The front panel is missing a screw, The back panel screws are completely different (they should be thumbscrews) The ryzen 9 is still not working, The motherboard is still dusty, At the very least Maxwell did tell me that the version of the bios I updated to wasn’t good and that I installed my ram incorrectly, I was then charged another $87 for this labor, The biggest problem that I found is actually with the terms and conditions (pictured below) THIS WAS NOT DISCLOSED WHAT SO EVER, it basically says irepairNM is not responsible if they damage your device, If these were disclosed to me I would not have agreed and have just taken my computer somewhere else, on top of that I can’t make out the words what so ever on the receipt. If your PC has an actual problem, Do not take it to these guys, Consider Computer Transformers on central ave instead, they have free diagnosis and are very transparent from personal experience, Scamin’ Davis won’t be seeing me anytime soon.
(Edit: Allen’s reply is correct, I did call 25 times in 4 days because I was kept in the dark and constantly told that they would call me instead, If you think this is harassment then simply stop working on technology, Another point is that the terms and conditions were not clearly disclosed and the print on the receipt cannot be read, you guys DID NOT repair a computer I almost destroyed, All you did was put in my old processor and update to an older version of the bios, I do know what i’m doing considering the fact that I built this computer on my own when I was 15, I know enough about my own technology and technology in general to know that you guys are scamming your customers by being dishonest, charging WAY too much for mediocre work, I will not be coming back because I was not planning on it, Keep the money but for consumers THIS PLACE IS A SCAM AND FULL OF LIES)
