My husband waited a week for a replacement screen for his Pixel 7 to come in and paid $283.25 for it to be replaced on Friday May 10th. He picked it up and charged it overnight. On Saturday morning a line appeared at the top of screen that wouldn’t go away. It got progressively glitchy and he brought it back on Tuesday May 14th as the replacement screen was STILL UNDER WARRANTY. iTek refused to honour the 2 week warranty, saying that he somehow damaged the screen. (Zero drops, no physical damage or liquid damage) Liars and thieves. The owner said he has ‘plenty of angry customers’ so this review won’t hurt him. Stay far away from this dishonest sham of business.
After being told by Hilton Head Phone Repair that they could not/would not replace the cracked lens cover on my Pixel 7 phone, I decided to drive to Bluffton to check out “iTek Squad”.
Gabriel said he could fix the problem in just a few minutes after he ordered a replacement lens cover. Two days later he spent 15 minutes working on my phone while I waited. He charged me just $46 for the work. He now has another very satisfied customer.
Brought my sons iphone for screen repair on June 29. After a week the screen started to respond inconsistently but we were out of town. The week we returned – still 10 days before their 30 day “warranty” – we returned phone with receipt. They conveniently claim water damage and will not stand by their product or (lack of) workmanship. The phone was not exposed to any water and is in perfect shape.
