So my MacBook was giving me major problems. Randomly saving stuff in the background in spite of me rarely saving. One day when preparing to make the new upgrade, my MacBook shut down. It would no longer open.

I went to Apple they recommended I go do data recovery at some extremely expensive location with terrible customer service.
