Recently I brought my cheap, 8 year old, near death, Dell PC laptop to the Mac and PC Guys. Fortunately, the owner, Mohammed, could spend a lot of time with me. First he fixed my screen display which had gone dark and then explained how he would try to recover the graphic files and documents I had lost, but told me upfront he probably could not retrieve my passwords unless I had saved them in a separate file, which I had not. He also said I would need a new hard drive and quoted me the price, which was very reasonable.

Nevertheless, with no pressure from him, I decided to give up on the old PC and purchase one of the refurbished MacBook Pros he had on display. (Prior to the Dell, I had owned and loved a Mac.) While the new Macs cost more than I wanted to spend, the 16″ refurbished model I selected was very reasonably priced and came with a 6 month warranty.

Mohammed sat with me and my new laptop, helped me purchase and download Microsoft Office, recommended and helped me order a printer from Best Buy, and he downloaded a couple search engines, Adobe Reader and a few other free apps. He even set me up so I could sign onto the new machine with my fingerprint.

When I finally left the office, I had a turn key system that thrilled me, and the cost for the Mac was, I am sure, very much less than half what it would have cost me had I gone to an Apple store and purchased new. And, more importantly, I had Mohammed’s assurance that I could call him or drop by anytime should I have any problems or questions about my new system. Now, I cannot imagine going anywhere else should I need future repair work,
software or hardware assistance and will gladly recommend Mac and PC Guys to any of my friends who may be experiencing problems with their computers or tablets.

Service was kind, friendly and they were fully focused on helping. I was pointed in the right direction for service on my asus gaming laptop while under warranty, however a tidbit of information given to me by them may have assisted me in solving the problem that ive had since getting my computer half a year ago on my own! As soon as you walk in, you feel like visiting an old friend. He truly care for your full satisfaction. He even followed up with me AFTER all was done just to ensure I was happy.
