I’m an enterprise software developer who has installed and repaired my own PC and network equipment since this technology been around. Years ago it used to be a lot of fun. But not anymore.

However, I still know what good IT work is, and have heard nothing but good things from my non-technie friends about Mezzabytes, a small, owner operated business here in Saddlebrooke. So yesterday when I thought my power supply was failing 3 weeks after redeploying a work PC for home use, I called them and asked, if I brought it in, could they diagnose right away? Long story short, they were fast, through, and very reasonable. And, it turned out all it was a loose connection. But they didn’t repair parts needlessly to make money. Instead they told me the truth and answered my questions.

A nice store in a very convenient location to boot. Though they also make house calls.

Probably won’t use Mezzabyte again. Brought my laptop in because it would sometimes freeze after going to sleep overnight, and I would have to reboot. They said they fixed the problem and I got the laptop back. Problem persisted and got a bit worse. Brought it back again. They said they did a few more “cleanup” activities including flashing the BIOS. Took it home and it was a disaster. Multiple freeze-ups, reboots, couldn’t stream shows, etc. Horrible. Had an IT friend come over, he diagnosed the problem, and fixed it immediately. Went back to Mezzabyte, said I was very unhappy and they were in denial. Didn’t offer compensation, but just said bring it back again and they would try something else. No sir! We are done with that…and their troubleshooting. I’ll be going elsewhere in the future!

Great prices and quality service you can count on. I live in Marana but I will still make the drive to Mezzabyte next time I need a computer repair.
