Utterly Disgraceful Customer Service and Warranty Support at Micro Center

I recently purchased a graphics card from Micro Center with a 2-year warranty, expecting peace of mind. However, the very next day after purchase, I started experiencing severe screen issues, with the display constantly breaking up. Despite the annoyance, I tolerated it for a while, but as the issue worsened, I finally decided to address it.

Today, I went to Micro Center to get the problem resolved. I explained the situation to the staff and presented my warranty for a replacement. However, after scanning the graphics card, the staff claimed there was no issue and refused to replace it. Despite explaining multiple times that my other devices had no issues, they insisted the graphics card was fine.

The reason I paid extra for a 2-year warranty was to ensure a swift replacement in case of problems like this. Unfortunately, Micro Center’s response was extremely disappointing. They failed to understand the customer’s inconvenience and relied solely on their scan results, showing no willingness to resolve the issue.

This experience has led me to seriously question Micro Center’s customer service and product quality management. I will not be making any future purchases from this store. If you are considering buying from Micro Center, I strongly advise you to explore other options. The WORST customer service.

Review of give the store is 3 1/2. The store has a lot of great stuff and it is a vibe to just walk around. My experience with having them build a computer for me was definitely not the best. My biggest criticism is please please please just set realistic time frames and communicate better. From Sunday being told my computer would be read the next day at noon and not hearing a peep. To being told my computer was next in queue and being built 2 separate days, to then realize it wasn’t true because when they actually started building they realized that I needed an extra part that the store was sold out of. Please in the future just respond to the text messages quicker. Be honest about time frames. I’d have zero issue if they told me Sunday to expect a minimum of 5-6 days or even a week. My computer came out beautiful and they did a wonderful build. Cord management is chefs kiss. Thank you for doing such a great job with it.

solutely love going to Micro Center! I often find myself visiting even when I don’t need anything–it’s just that fun. The store is always so well-kept and organized, and the staff really know their stuff.

This place is the better version of Best Buy in every single way. They have such cool stuff on display that you can actually interact with. I’m planning on getting my PC built here sometime this month, and I can’t even explain how much fun it was getting everything in order for my dream setup because I bought everything here at Micro Center.
