If you need a computer or computer repair this is definitely the place to go! Fast and professional service! I have been more than satisfied with the service I have received. I met the owner,Tony, who was more than willing to help me, and even gave me a discount. I recently bought another computer at a very reasonable cost there. Had to return a few weeks later because I had a family come visit, and their special needs child he was playing with my computer, and turned the screen sideways, I couldn’t get it back. Googled the repair but nothing worked. It was a little more complicated. Tony sat with me, and was able to fix it. Everytime I have been to Modesto Tech Exchange, I feel like family. Nice to know there is someone I can trust with my computers.

I cannot express just how deeply grateful for this amazing place. My Mac tower is over 10 years old, and over the last couple of years it had been giving me trouble. It finally got to the point to where it would freeze up and I would get the spinning beach ball of death, it had lost all of my music files, which were very extensive due to me being a DJ. It lost all of my work, and lost all my photos. I brought it to Modesto Tech Exchange just hoping to get it up and running with no hopes of recovering my files. Not only did they get it running as good as new, but I also got all my music and photos back. Great service, very nice people, and incredibly knowledgeable. And as far as pricing goes, you cannot find any place this reasonable.

Called first when needing to bring in my Chromebook for service. I explained the issue to the tech, I think his name was Tony, and after some discussion he suggested not getting it repaired but rather it might be better to buy a new one. It is refreshing to see integrity like that these days, with so many others only looking out for themselves and how they can make an easy buck. He understands if you treat people right, you will get so much more in return. This was my first time dealing with MTE as I usually repair my PCs myself, but I definitely will use them in the future.
