My computer would not boot up on Thursday late afternoon during a busy season, I was able to pick my computer back up on Friday lunch. Received a call Thursday evening, after they’re closed hours letting me know what was going on and my options. I could understand the explanation of what was going on and the price in my estimation was very reasonable.

When I went to pick up my computer I was given suggestions of what I could do to have more data protection, this wasn’t an issue with my repair but prevention is always worth a pound of cure. I was very grateful for the suggestions.

Prior to this instance I was contemplating buying a new computer because of some lag issues that were very frustrating. After the repair, it really is like having a new computer for a fraction of the cost. (And the short forced time off was kind of nice as well.)

Definitely my computer guy from now on…

I wanted to take advantage of my home being wired for ethernet by connecting our computers; however, I couldn’t figure out how to do the setup. Online sources were not very helpful – sparse on details and often conflicting. Mike @ My Computer Guy completed the set-up in a matter of minutes. He was knowledgeable and pleasant. Would definitely call him next time I need tech support!

When my desktop computer died, Mike quickly diagnosed the problem and provided two options for repair: (1) install new parts or (2) recover the data on the hard drive. Because the computer was old, I opted for option 2.
I was very satisfied with his service, and would certainly use him again for any future computer repair issues.
