When I took phone to the shop, their technician Scott was upfront about it, that their screen in stock is not original. He clearly explained his supplier cannot provide original screen, unlike those other mobile repair shops who try to hide the truth.
He also shared that I could find original screen on iFixit for around $200. Even though iFixit let user fix it, I wanted his help and they did a great job fixing my phone with that screen with lot of care. Kudos to them for that!
But here’s where things got a bit tricky. After the repair, my fingerprint sensor went haywire. I contacted iFixit, and even they couldn’t figure out what went wrong. I got replacement screen. That did not fix it. Scott and Owl guys were like a good friend. He reinstalling the screen twice and trying different approaches to fix the sensor.
Eventually, a factory reset the phone and my fingerprint sensor was back in action.
I’ve got to say, I’m really impressed with Owl’s professionalism and Scott’s determination to make things right. Thanks guys.
