Went in to see what could be done about my phone not charging. Guy at the counter didn’t even take my phone, just told me that the moisture sensor was tripped and the port had to be replaced or it’d never charge again. Tells me he’s seen thousands of times and knows what he’s talking about. Said $105 bucks and 4-6 hours to get it done. Again, never once looked at the phone. Left there, took it to one of their competitors and they took it back for 30 seconds, blew it out and said there was a piece of something down in the port. Nothing to it. I’ve had work done at phonetodd before and had a great experience, but this time it seemed like they were just trying to bump up their profits. I wonder how many people they do this to on a regular basis. Just felt shady.

I brought my phone in for a battery, they damaged my screen in the process but they replaced it for free. I then had issues with the new screen that they could not fix. Had to take my phone to another business to get it fixed and working correctly. This was very frustrating but the owner made things right and covered the repairs by the other business. My phone had a very odd issue occur out of their control. In the end they made sure I was taken care of and happy!

He has found Simple fixes over the years that I thought would be very costly or have to replace – once my phone picked up and he hit 3 buttons BAM – FIXED !! Couldn’t get phone to charge once- cowshed my ports did FRRE and BAM – FIXED!! He is really informative and patient – I heard from others that other shops bring their bad fixes to him… HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!
