Friday at midnight, my laptop containing all the excel financial files propping up western civilization was waterboarded by some Dog and teenagers. I spent the next six or seven hours frantically taking the machine apart and googling everything, to determine that the flash (eMMc) hard drive is a special cohort of hell and data recovery services can cost around a mortgage payment and take weeks, if at all successful.
Then I sent a message on Yelp to Raven Computer, as they had the earliest posted hours. I received an IMMEDIATE response, with the very soothing message that if the data could be backed up, it might only take an hour to do so.
I rushed to the location, met with Jason, who deserves a full knighthood, or at least for absolutely going above and beyond for me.
Long story short, not only did Jason recover all of my data, he stayed in communication with me, keeping me assured of the status of the project. Bless this man for the rest of his days, he stayed late on Friday to get my data to me as well. Raven Computer and Jason recovered my data in less than 2 days and at a price so incredibly reasonable (less than the mortgage payment I had been quoted somewhere else)! From start to finish, the team here were so wonderful and reassuring to work with, I cannot recommend them enough.

Everyone needs good tech support sometimes, but it’s hard to know where to turn because the industry is saturated with so many options. I was overwhelmed when I started my search. Jason wasn’t the first person I contacted, but he was the first person I hired, so I feel very lucky. I’m so grateful for all his help.
