I do not recommend you trust this place with your phone.

I had a screen replaced on an Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra and a few weeks after, my phone had an issue where if I bumped it (gently) it would turn on/off.

I had thought it was some other damage to my phone, so kept using my phone, accepting the new kink it had.

However, after a while my screen would no longer turn on, despite the rest of the phone being powered on.

I called Talk N Fix to see if they would take a look and the employee explained that they might, but it was beyond the three month warranty they offer.

He told me a supervisor would contact me about next steps, which never happened.

Faced at paying another $400 or so to get my phone fixed again, I took it to another shop to get it repaired.

When I went to pick up my phone at the (not Talk N Fix) shop, they informed me that the wrong adhesive was used to seal my phone back up and that screws were missing resulting in loose connections.

I use my phone for work, so I not only lost an extra $400 beyond what I paid to get my phone fixed here, but also lost a few paid days of work.

I had once again called the shop and asked them to contact me to rectify the situation before placing this review.

Again, I was told a supervisor would call me – which never happened.

I know this place has gotten great reviews in general and understand that mistakes happen, but my phone should have never been returned to me in that condition.

Update to owner’s response of “You never brought the phone back.”

I’d recommend that in the future you might inform others of how you tried to remedy the situation so the customer doesn’t have to.

I moved to Virginia, about 4 hours away, and after some haggling with you, you negotiated a partial refund of only $100.

I’ve clearly decided that the refund amount wasn’t worth the drive, which is what I’ve would have told you had you followed up.

I initially brought my phone here because I thought I’d drop it too many times. But I soon found out that my overcharged battery was causing my phone to puff out. This cost me $50 that I hadn’t planned on spending. ( I will no longer charge overnight… just to 85% or so. ) But I need my phone so I spent it. Now there are two locations here. .. 1 is near the food court. The other is near Primark. When I picked up my phone I noticed a mark in lower right of phone which wasn’t there when I took it to them. I was pleasantly surprised when the big boss said he would replace my screen free of charge because it looked like my phone had water damage and it could be determined if it happened before or after my visit. My question was “why did this spot not show up before?”. Anyway I am leaving a happy customer.

I came in very stressed about my iPhone 12 Pro Max screen being cracked and he helped me with so much passion. They are very helpful and reasonable. I got both screen protectors from them and the quality was good. I totally recommend their services.
