Tech Bench is an incredibly well run repair center run by Nick, who has been repairing anything with screws and a current since he was a child. I had given two items to him to diagnose and fix. The first being an elite game controller, the other being an Apple Watch. He fixed the controller no problem, but unfortunately the Apple Watch had a logic board issue where it wanted to heat up every new battery that had been placed within, thus destroying every battery that would be put inside it if given the time to do so. In this case, I was only charged an incredibly small diagnostic fee(since he was not able to fix the issue, or if he were to try further, it would be much more money then what the Watch was worth), and then another separate diagnostic fee + the fee for time/parts for him to fix the controller which was also inexpensive. I m so happy to have found a great repair shop that so far seems to be able to fix about anything that comes it’s way. The manner in which Nick conducts himself is personable, relatable, and respectful in every element that is available to him, and I can vouch that he will grow this business venture to an incredible extent given the relations he creates with his consumers. If you need something repaired, this guy is the one you should ask to do it.

I recently took my son xbox x series to Nick, And he was able to fix an HDMI issue In which other repair stores had told me was unable to be fixed (after they had my sons xbox for 2 weeks and brought it to different techs at other locations the chain owns). Technology is not my forte, and Nick Had discovered a deeper issue on the board of his xbox. He sent me before, during, and after pictures And kept me in communication throughout the entire process so that I could understand what the issue was. He also cleaned everything And shared tips with my son and I on how to properly care for his Xbox. Nick went over and beyond my expectations. I live about 30 minutes from Nick’s location, and due to his professionalism, Communication, Time management, ability to deliver, fair pricing, and great warranty I will never go to a different repair company again. I will forever recommend everybody that I know to go to him for any technology repairs needed. Nick truly is a master at his work, And I cannot thank him enough for the money that he saved when I originally had felt that I was going to have to buy my son an entire new council. I can guarantee anybody that meets Nick would feel exactly the way I do. I cannot thank you enough, Nick!

Nick has done an amazing job fixing various electronics for us. He has repaired a couple of Xbox’s for us as well replaced a battery on my wife’s iPhone and the screen on my iPhone. The iPhone repairs were done while I waited and the fee was $20-$30 less than an estimate I got from a chain that I went to where I would have had to leave it for them to repair in a day or so. The Xbox repairs were also well done at a reasonable price as well. I highly recommend calling Nick with all of your electronic repair needs. He recently moved from Hinsdale to La Grange.
