Very very odd experience.

Walked in after purchasing my new Iphone at the Apple store a few storefronts down, to purchase a few new cases for it.

This was approx 7 PM on a weeknight.

This store was brightly lit, filled with about 4 other customers… and literally NO ONE manning the store.

I walked up to the pay desk, where orders are placed and presumably you can hand your credit card to a human being… and NO ONE was behind it.

I looked up at the 4 customers, wondering if perhaps one of them worked there. No such luck.

Spotted a ‘back door’ with one-way mirrored windows. Knocked on it. Waited. One of the other customers asked me if anyone seemed to be back there. Awkward.

So knocked again. Nothing.

After about 5 minutes of wandering around, I got the idea to call the store number. All 4 other customers now were watching me, wondering the same thing: WHERE THE HE** IS THE STAFF?? One of them made a joke, “Well, I guess it’s all free!”.

We honestly all could’ve walked out with merchandise. No one was there.

Anyway – called the store. An IPHONE starts ringing … on the front desk!!

So we all laugh and one of the customers says, ‘Well, there you go!”

My total time in this store was about 9 minutes. The OTHER customers had been there wandering around when I walked in.

ALL FIVE OF US after muttering sarcastic remarks… left.

WHAT THE HE** kind of Ownership / Management / Staff just LEAVES AN ENTIRE RETAIL STORE IN A BUSY MALL WIDE OPEN… and disrespects it’s own reputation AND the time and good faith of its customers – like this??

I’ve noticed other 1 STAR reviews this past year. If this is how this store ‘runs its business’ – that goes with everything. They don’t even care if their own Store is vandalized or robbed… why would you trust them to repair someone else’s property??

Crazy they’re paying that kind of steep rent to be in the Westfield and not bother to have anyone there to take payments of 5 customers. If they were in the bathroom or had a 911 where they had to leave for 1/2 hour – LEAVE A SIGN and LOCK UP YOUR STORE for g-d’s sake!!

Do not recommend. They likely won’t be there to help you, anyway.

I was very disappointed in the service I received from The Fix in the Westfield Fashion Square. After waiting for the glass to repair my phone it over 3 weeks to actually get the work done. Either they were closed or, more often, the tech wasn’t available. Finally, I got there when the tech was there and he installed the new glass, criticizing his other worker for not doing it because it was so easy. 3 hours later the glass fell off, it hadn’t even been properly sealed. I had the work done at another location… and they didn’t even charge me.

Believe or not, eventhough they are at the mall, they have better prices than other places. I checked 4 different places before going to them and and this place gave me a better price to fix my son’s phone. I highly recomend this place. This is my second time coming to them. Elon did an amazing job on my son’s phone. He is very polite and gives a good customer service. 5 stars for this place.
