Went to this location to get my phone screen fixed. I had not been able to get into any of my banking stuff or socials all week since everything was on my phone so i wasnt having the best time. Anyway i get to the place, give them my phone and after about an hour its fixed and ready to use again! Or so i thought.. apparently while my screen was shattered my phone was doing something called “ghost touching” meaning it kept randomly pressing different parts of the screen over and over by itself. And it locked me out for 8 hours. If this has happened to you before then you know theres no work around. The only thing you can do is wait. Sooooo i was pretty much screwed as i needed to get into my phone in order to pay for the repair as well as to call an uber to get home.. the staff was already somewhat aware of my situation so when i tell the guy i cant pay as i didnt have enough and needed to transfer money around in order to have enough for the repair and seemed pretty much stranded since i wouldnt be able to order a ride home he tells me to hold on and walks to the back where i could hear him explaining to the other people what had happened. Tony, the manager, who coincidentally was also the first guy to help me when i first arrived, comes and tells me first hes can give me a discount depending on how much i have on my card and he could also give me a ride home afterwards… i swear if there was an option to give this review 10 stars it still wouldnt be enough. I was so shocked and thankful for what he said. Completely turned my horrible week around. By far the best customer service i have ever received from anywhere and anyone hands down!!! Sorry if this was extremely long winded. Lol but yeah best ubreakifix location and staff ever!

went in for a screen replacement. I was told it would take 2 hr and when I showed up 2 hrs later I was told that I couldn’t receive my phone back. Allegedly my phone failed a diagnostic test (I’ve never had any issues with the device, only a cracked screen) and when I asked for it back they refused to give it to me. I asked again and they said under warranty they cant release it unless I purchase a repair that wasn’t necessary and wasn’t agreed upon.
THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEVICE IF YOU DO NOT BUY WHAT THEY WANT!! INCLUDES AFTER THE DROP OFF AND AGREEMENT OF SERVICES!! They ask for your password when dropping off the device and now they have my phone with my banking, email and refuse to return my own device. All the employees went to the back and left me completely in the store alone by myself. I left the store because I was very upset that they took my phone and didn’t want to cause scene. I reached out to Samsung Care+ and the Elk Grove Police Department for assistance since I now considered this a theft. When I returned to the store I had plans to ask to change my password so I could “steal” my own device back but they told me I could have it now. 4 hr, lies, police and corporate contact. save yourself the trouble. I watched them upsale the customers in front of me for a free lunch (he literally said that to the customer, buy this and I make a quota to get a free lunch). Be careful.

I am VERY pleasantly surprised with how the workers handled my situation. He was very knowledgeable and explained the whole process giving me confidence in knowing that he understands the issue I’ve been experiencing at a technical level. My repair process was seamless and it barely took them any time to repair my phone. The repair was exceptional and my phone is basically brand-new. This is definitely a location that treats both you and your device with the utmost respect and as if it were their own. If I ever have any problems in the future – I will be sure to come back and will also refer my co-workers, friends, and family to this location. Thanks again to the employees! These guys are great.
