DO NOT GO HERE!!!! My phone was perfectly working Sunday. I dropped it off Sunday at 1213 with the screen working and everything working. They told me 3 hours and it should be fix. I came back in at 330 to pick up phone. He said the new was defective and I will have to wait for new part, but my phone could not be turn on. (red flag) (didn’t have the balls to tell me they destroy it) He said it will be done Tuesday. Called 1230 Tuesday they proceed to say they could not find my phone. They finally found it and said it would take 3-5 hours to fix. Pick it up at 330 to my phone being destroyed. Phone will not even turn on. New screen was not put on, my original screen is cracked ten times worse than the little crack I had on it. They destroyed by phone and then told me I will have to talked to a manager to see if they can transfer my picture for free, which they should do for free and pay for my phone since they destroyed it. I had insurance on my phone, and I have to pay for a new phone. Do not trust your phone with them, they will break it. UPDATE After 2 hours talk to att. I was told by att since your staff destroyed my phone, your staff instead of lying about getting new parts they should have called to replace my phone so it would have been ready for me on Tuesday. Your staff never wrote on why my phone was destroyed Asurion thought my phone was completed destroy and they thought I bought it to you guys that way. Thank God I had video of my phone working perfectly fine before I gave it to you guys and video of your staff handing the phone over and it being destroyed. Also, I learn that this place work is guaranteed by the Att manager, and this should have never happened. Att made everything better. I might not get my phone till next week because of you guys, but I feel like you guy should be better train to deal with these types of situations.
My battery wasn’t staying charged as long as it should. I ran a self-diagnostic provided by the phone manufacturer. It stated I should take it in to have the battery replaced. I took it to the store and was told it would take 2.5 hours. I returned to be told to come back in 45 minutes as they were completing the repair and the final diagnostics to confirm with the manufacturer who honored the warranty that a new part was replaced. I returned little over 45 minutes later to be told that they were never able to determine if the battery needed replaced or not and they were attempting to get a approval from the manufacturer to replace the battery under warranty. At this point my phone had been in their possession for 4 hours. I had asked them to put it back together and hand it back to me and I would take care of it myself at another store. They argued with me and didn’t want to do that but ultimately they did and the screen did not work. The screen did work when I brought the phone in. I gave the phone back. Asked them to fix it back to the condition it was when I brought it in. I returned in approximately an hour and a half. They handed my phone to me with no further instruction so I have no idea if this phone had the battery replaced. My screen is acting odd and not accepting my fingerprint. I think they removed my glass screen protector that I just bought brand new last week. My phone is in worse shape than when I took it into the store and I have no clue what they have done to it or if it’s even fixed. Do not trust them!
Screen of Pixel 6 was separating in lower-left corner. Technician at Ubreakifix said it was a swollen battery pushing the screen up to detach. He said replacing the battery would fix the issue and was needed since battery was going bad. The repair cost was quoted at $130 + tax. I went to pick up my phone after the repair and a new technician said the screen was completely detached after replacing the battery and a new screen was needed for an additional $240 + tax. The need for a new screen had to do with a bracket which held the screen on was broken. I refused to pay for the additional screen as the screen was mostly attached when the phone was dropped off for repair and the original technician made it clear the screen was good. After arguing I said I would tape the screen to the device and only pay for the battery which is what happened. I now have a phone being held together by scotch tape because Ubreakifix refused to pay for or replace the screen at their cost.
