I brought my laptop in to get the battery replaced on June 25th and was told it’ll take 1-1.5 weeks. I had to call 3 times in a span of a couple weeks to just confirm that yes I do want to have it replace. After I confirmed it three times I was then told that they will order it. I had to call back a week later cause I have had heard nothing and was told they had not ordered it. After they promised they would have it order I said ok. A week later I called again (it’s been over a month now, July 27) I called to see what’s going on and they said they did not have the battery and since I was so frustrated I said I’m picking it up and doing it myself. On the way there they called me and said that they got the battery and that they were ready to do the replacement but had to confirm which laptop. When I said what laptop it was they, I was told they didn’t have it. After arguing for a couple minutes they magically found it. I have never met a shop so disfunctional and unorganized. It should not have to take over a month to get a battery replaced (which I didn’t even do cause I don’t trust the people who work here) and everytime they kept saying it was a communication issue. Even though I confirmed it a total of 4 times before they even thought of fixing it. They said it’ll take an hour but I have no faith in them and it’ll be better for me to fix it myself.

So far I’m not impressed. Dropped off a controller in May. Told it would be a couple weeks cause they were behind. I’ve never been contacted about it at all(did find a contact from June 15th but no voicemail just a missed call) I drive by the store most days so check in now and again. It’s July …2 months after I dropped it off. I’m told they have changed management and my controller is in pieces on the managers desk. I came in last week and was told it would be done which is why I came by. While there A guy came in to have his battery replaced on his phone it will be ready tomorrow…yet I’ve waited 2 months without anyone giving me updates. If I have to pay the full price for the repair I’m going to be upset. There is just bad business

Update: still disappointed in the turn around time however was contacted today(July 19) and my controller is fixed and they didn’t charge me full price for the repair due to the wait time. They did inform me that there had been previous repairs on it which might explain why i,had issues with it in the 1st place. I’m glad they realized it was a long wait time and chose to compensate me for that time.

Stopped by with Samsung ear buds and after waiting in line was informed that “Samsung doesn’t allow them to work on wearables”. When I asked why the other store told me that they do and, being the authorized dealer, Samsung support told me to go to any uBreakiFix store I got an answer that all stores are independently owned, but, and I’m quoting, “uBreakiFix” doesn’t work on wearables.

Naturally, this was incorrect and another location 20 min out took the items for diagnostic and were surprised that “Samsung doesn’t allow them to work on wearables”. The level of “I don’t care” attitude from the guy at the front desk was simply overwhelming and I am certain he knew that the information he’s giving me was, at the very least, misleading and incomplete.

If this is the only (or one of the few) stores that Samsung doesn’t allow to work on their wearables, I have to wonder why they were singled out.
