I went back in April to try to fix my device and get insurance coverage since my apple care expired. The employee was very helpful and respectful told me that I should get the Asurion plus home insurance for $25 a month and claims are only like $100 for a device. The only thing was that I had to wait about a month until I could file a claim – that was just the policy. I still needed my device for work, so yesterday I had an appointment to get it fixed. I did not realize I had to start the claim online at home, so the employee was very nice and allowed me to use their computer to file it and pay it there. He told me that the part will be ordered and hopefully ship in Saturday. However, he did let me know that it might not be fixed until mid next week if delivery shipments were delayed. They were all very patient, helpful, and respectful towards me and the process. Saturday afternoon I got a call and voicemail that my device was ready for pick up and to call them if I had any questions. I was very shocked and excited that it was completed Saturday (the next day). Now, this will not be the case for everyone nor every device. That is why I was shocked. When I picked it up – I told them my name and they let me look at it and I was very pleased. I will post photos of the before and after. Thanks to the guys at uBreakiFix!!

I have been going to this location mostly for phone screen repair for several years and always received excellent service but my most recent experience with my MacBook is unacceptable and showing that this location has gone downhill. They had my MacBook for nearly 4 months with no communication of what was going on during that entire period until 2+ months had passed. They do not update you when they have to order a part and are waiting for it. They ended up replacing the motherboard and SSD. I agreed to let them delete everything I had on the Mac as long as it could be fixed. Finally it was ready for pickup on Monday and I picked up last night. The installed an old version of OS X that is barely functional. I can’t really do anything with it cause it’s so out of date you can’t even install a newer version. So basically I lost all the stuff I had on the computer just to still not even be able to use the MacBook. Paid $250 for nothing and now when I call the main line it’s busy all morning and the original technician that worked on it is sending me to voicemail. I will be going up there later today but unless they can fix this I will never go back to that location again and wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else for anything more than a screen repair on their phone

Repairs are still fine but customer service has really diminished since my last visit. Dropped my device off on a Monday with a cracked screen and was told it should be done in a day or so. Called the following Monday after not hearing anything and was told the part didn’t get in until that previous Saturday but it was in the rotation to be worked on that day and should be done by the next day. Still didn’t hear for days so called today (Friday). The person who answered just said “hello?” like they were confused about why someone was calling the shop. Sounded half asleep and sounded annoyed when I asked about the status of my device. It was finally ready but I questioned why I hadn’t been contacted when it was done and they didn’t seem to have an answer. No phone call, no email. Just seems like kind of an inefficient way of doing business. In the past that location has been very helpful, efficient, quick turnaround and good communication. Seems like something is off now. When I went in to pick it up the whole place reeked of weed so perhaps that explains why things are so slow moving. It’s a bummer but I’ll probably bring my fixes to a different location going forward.
