Went in with a broken back glass and a fully working iPhone 14 Pro. Store employee said that they fix them all the time and no problem. Came back to pick up phone and new back cover was loose. Employee stated they didn’t catch that and it was their error and would have to order another new back piece. Phone still worked at this point, but Face ID did not anymore. UBreakifix called a week later with new piece in stock and would check why the Face ID stopped working. Stopped by the store late in the day to get phone and the employee states that they were done working on it, but were running more test and stated Face ID is not compatible with new back piece. Go home and the battery looses charge quickly and phone goes into heat protection mode. Go back to the store and they say leave it and they will work on it next day. After waiting an entire day again with them working on the phone the employee states that they can’t do anything with it and the motherboard might be going out. I ask to speak to a manager and the employee states that a manager was unavailable at that time and to leave phone number and the manager would call the next day. Never heard anything back from the store. Called the store and is put on hold and then get disconnected. Phone is completely none functional now. Thanks uBreakifix for breaking and not fixing my phone
I did not make the rating of 5 stars. When I received my phone back it was automatically there. Strange. Never had a business rate themselves from a customer’s device.
Anyway.. I would have given it 5 and beyond had it not been such a 2.5 day runaround. I understand that there are sometimes things that come up but when you see a person is actively involved with staying in contact due to living a distance away.. then they should be contacted when something arises as was told said employee would do so.
Also when having an appointment at 6:30 and a closing time of 7 it puts pressure on the night employee. Of taking I guess time to enter an order in 30 minutes? I’m not sure but it took about 10 min the second time I went back to turn in my device. Where had I been helped correctly the evening before there wouldn’t have been a second time. I would have just had an am pick up. She did not give me the opportunity to ask if I could leave my device and her order the part.. she basically said we can’t do that tonight. (Which I was prepared for) and that they didn’t have the part anyway. Instead of giving me the opportunity to leave the device and contact me with information on the part needed the next business day.
When I went to pick up the device the customer service was amazing! He was kind, thorough

The service I got wasn’t bad but I wish they would have told me the screen they put on my phone would be so bad. It shuts off randomly and frequently and most often through the night so I’ve overslept for work a few times because my phone didn’t go off. It also overheats so quickly now which it never did before. If I’d known I would just kept my old shattered screen. Just wanted people to know they don’t tell you most of what they put on your phone. I was told the changes because of the screen would be almost unnoticeable but here I am.
Edit: so now after messing my phone up you want me to bring it back to you, the ones that messed it up? I’m gonna just get a new phone like I should have done in the first place this thing is getting worse and worse.
