I recently visited Ubreakifix to address an issue with my Google Pixel 6 Pro screen, which had developed a green tint. This repair was supposed to be covered under the 1-year workmanship warranty for the screen repair I paid for in November 2023. Unfortunately, my experience was highly disappointing.

Upon arrival, the representative at the front desk acknowledged that the issue should indeed fall under warranty. However, he informed me that he couldn’t process my request due to his system not recognizing my phone. Despite having called ahead and being assured by another representative that my claim would be covered, the manager was dismissive and concluded that “there is nothing we can do” without making any effort to investigate further.

I was particularly frustrated by the lack of any proposed solution or attempt to understand the discrepancy in their system. The front desk representative seemed uncertain and unable to explain why my warranty claim could not be processed, which added to the overall poor experience.

Due to the unprofessionalism and lack of customer service, I cannot recommend this location. My interaction left me feeling undervalued and without resolution for a legitimate warranty issue.

This place is WACK. Took my iPhone in after cracking the screen, $150 ish dollars to put in a new one like okay sure fine. but the screen they put in started ghost touching a few days after I left the store. I brought it back a week or two later and the guy said he’d fix the problem. Got it back, as soon as I got home it started ghost touching again. Dropped it off a third time and the guy at the front seemed annoyed I was back again. Which ???? I don’t want to be here either man sorry??. Anyway when I came back to pick it up, same dude at the front saw me, turned around, went into the back and yelled “YO that CHICK IS HERE FOR HER PHONE AGAIN” ???? You think I WANT TO BE at the cell phone repair store 4 times in a month?? Hello?? Anyway brought it home for the third time and it still kept ghost touching. Finally returned a fourth time and just got my money back, but they said it was essentially unfixable. Womp womp. Appreciate the refund and most of the staff were cool but the one guy that called me chick was so out of pocket I felt COMPELLED to leave a review RAHHH

Took three and a half weeks to only take some screws out and tell me they didn’t want to go any further because it didn’t just lift apart after that on my computer. It took me less than 5 minutes to find a YouTube video, more like 1 minute, that showed the are some tension tabs holding it together and they didn’t even try. They did a terrible job and I cannot recommend them at all any more. They did great several years ago replacing a cracked phone screen of mine but something as simple as this not getting done ( battery replacement on laptop) is way too big of a red flag for me to deal with. The last picture is a far as they got which is essentially just taking the back cover off.

BTW I was able to replace the battery and the DC port in less than an hour and a half even though I had to buy a electronics screwdriver and thermal paste to fix it.
