Bad place to take your phone for repairs. Took a phone with a black screen that needed to be replaced. A week after the replacement made at Ubreakifix, the screen displayed a purple spot on the top corner. We have 3 months warranty after repair, so we went back to the place to get that checked out because we have had this phone for little more than a year and never had that issue until after the repair. The lady who assisted us asked us questions about the phone, including if the phone had been in contact with water. My answer was of course no, because the phone had not been in contact with water, to what the lady responded “that sounded questionable”. From that moment I knew they would try to use that excuse to not honor the warranty. We left the phone with them so they could check it out and fix it if there was no liquid damage. Of course I get a call from them a few hours later saying there is liquid damage and the warranty doesn’t cover that. So we have to pay for the repair again. At that point I go to the store in person and speak with the rep. and the manager, and they were just coming up with excuses to not fix the phone. A quick Google search will tell you that the purple spot is not water damage, but is not like I can force them to fix for free at this point, even though I know they didn’t do a good job replacing the screen nad/or the screen was just defective, and this issue is obviously connected to that. They sent me a few blurry pictures of the phone with “proof” of the water damage, but is impossible to tell what is what because they are so blurry. On top of everything the lady’s voice is very low and hard to hear, I had to ask her to repeat things constantly, so I was getting annoyed and she was getting annoyed too. Just to make matters worst the lady says “You seem upset” which is obvious given the situation and in no way helpful. Felt like she just wanted to tease me. Really bad customer service right there. I decided of course not to have the phone screen fixed again and be charged for it again, so I leave. The lighting in the place is really bad as well, so it was hard to notice how widely open they left the back of the phone. So I had to go back and ask them to at least glue it properly. That could have been the reason why the phone screen got that purple spot. They did not do a good job putting the phone back together. It was obvious that by then the manager was annoyed given his condescending attitude towards me, but I was too, and I still had to ask him to glue the back of the phone correctly because it was so open. Really bad place to fix your phone. Their parts and materials are low quality, the costumer service is mediocre and is not a cheap place at all. They do not honor warranties for their mistakes. Look somewhere else. I attached photos of the phone that show the incompetent quality of work from these “experts”. You can see how open the left it. That’s what they gave me back when I went to pick up the phone.

I went in for a laptop repair to the office located at the Forum Parkway recommended by Asurion Home Plus for a damage USB port and laptop case separation. It took longer than expected because they had to order a replacement case. When I got my laptop back, it turned on but immediately shut down with a restart due to an error during start up. The laptop did reboot but the screen was black. It was basically inoperable with poor repair quality (case is still separating and there are scratches and damages such as dents) that were not there when I turned it in. Also, they did not really repair the USB port. It looks like they just bent it back in place. I do not recommend you take your device in for repair.

Additionally, I am now dealing with Asurion Home Plus. Asurion Home Plus deemed my laptop is not repairable, according to personnel at Asurion, they will be giving me a device that is comparable to what I had. Asurion sent me a link to select a replacement device, and when I clicked on that link, there was only one option for replacement, and that replacement was no where comparable to the specifications of this laptop. Asurion gave me the option of a Lenovo Chromebook with 4 GB and 64 GB eMMR. My broken, unrepairable laptop was configured with 64 GB, with 512 SSD. Very disappointing.

The so called manager at this store is so unprofessional and so rude. I took my laptop to get it looked at..and his attitude was like, I won’t be able to afford to pay for the service. He was so dismissive and totally out of order. Completely rude. They didn’t even check to see what was wrong with d system. He was saying just checking that wld cost $59 and was pushing me towards a warrantee of $24. It was such a disappointment considering all the reviews they got. The attitude was so uncalled for and now am thinking he is racist, totally. They are racist.The one star I gave was for the young lady that tried to attend to me before the rude guy came along. What a wrong representation of the brand. He will run this business down. The Owner should beware.
