From my experience, it wouldn’t surprise me if the majority of employee training is in how to avoid doing more than the absolute minimum in both the areas of customer service and repairs. The employees seemed disinterested in fixing my phone (either through an already pre-approved Samsung repair or by self pay) and when the replacement part failed because of an admittedly bad part, figuring out if there was another resolution. If your repair isn’t simple, straightforward and follows a preordained checklist, from my experience, don’t expect a positive result.
Holy moly!! Paul at the Corrales location was the epitome of customer service!! I went in with my iPhone to see about a new battery. He assessed my battery and told me that i really DID NOT need a new battery. His assessment was that my battery was still in good shape. He did say that if I did want a new one he would install it.In this day and age of corporate greed, it was refreshing that there is still an inkling of honesty out there. Thank you!
The display on my phone quit working properly (flickering on and off and color changes) and I just happened to check my warranty. I was lucky enough to be within the last month of it and took my phone here to get the work done as they are an authorized pixel repair shop. They did the work under the warranty and I got a new display for free! Definitely happy about that!
