I was sent to this specific location by Asurion because the front and back of my device had been cracked. The customer service person working there was more interested in arguing than actually doing the repair. He looked at the device and told me I needed to file a claim to have them send me another phone. I explained I already filed a claim and that’s why I was there and he looked me up and couldn’t find my claim. I pulled it up on my phone, he went back into his computer, suddenly he found it and said well he can repair it but it would be cheaper if I ordered a new device telling me the cost to repair the front and back was several hundred dollars. I explained Asurion said it was covered and he said no, it wasn’t. After going home and calling Asurion they told me I needed to go to that location to have the device fixed or pay the deductible. Really terrible experience all around.

Really disappointed with them. Brought in a Nintendo for repair and 4 days later got a call they cannot fix it because they are going through an ownership change and have nowhere to send it out to. They said they’d call the next day with updates, then didn’t call. I called them and they pushed off to the next day. This happened one more time before they finally gave me the update they can order the part, send it out, and have it back in over a week. Or sooner if I pay $40 for expediting. For the 8 days they did nothing with the Nintendo they offered me only $10 off. They quoted me $160 to replace the charging port. I ended up taking it elsewhere and it wasn’t actually the charging port – it was the battery. I ended up paying less than half their quote.

Chris is a model employee for the company and customer and that is great for business. His expertise in the technical world shows as he speaks to his customers affirmatively and that happens because he knows what he is talking about. I only wish he would have allowed and or assisted me in putting my phone in maintenance mode. Instead he said “no one here wants your data”. That may be true but later I had to change my pass codes.. so next time I do it before I get there. If there is a next time phone works great.
