This was the worst experience ever. I walked in asking for two lines, I had done research online and knew it would be about $130. The staff told us that there are some discounts and if I just add two more extra lines and hold on to them, I end up with $125 bill.

I said ok trusting this information. I get asked to sign and notice estimated cost is higher than expected. I get told this is just an estimate and these are always inaccurate. We sat there for about an hour, the store is supposed to be open for another 2 hours but the employee suddenly tells us he had to be off half an hour ago and is gonna rush out.

I ended up with $273 bill and have paid $39.99 fee to the store for them helping me which is NOT the one time activation fee though they made it sound like it’s that.

I had to call verizon multiple times to remove the two extra lines I never wanted and am still in a hell where my first bill even after calling support and fixing the plan is coming off as $273.

Do yourself a favor, do your business online and save yourself from this

Chase killed it today. I walked in with someone right behind me while Chase was with another customer. Mind you this was an hour before closing and he seemed to be all alone. He did a great job knowledging we were there and he would be right with us. Chase all by himself, 3 different parties of customers within the last hour and he took care of all of us with a smile on his face. Great employee to have on your crew! Next time I need to be at a Verizon store I’m going to this one of Kings and I hope he’s there to help!

The signage needs to be more clear that this is not a real Verizon store. I went in to get a new line and was unable to get my questions answered after spending an hour here because it wasn’t a real store, despite being listed as “Verizon” on google maps and the sign saying “Verizon”.

I am giving 3 stars vs 1 because despite this, the employees were very helpful and spent a long time trying to get everything worked out. In the end though, I had to drive to a corporate store in Albany.
