I went in to have the screen replaced on my Iphone 6s+. I broke my phone on a Sunday morning and decided to head over to the store to see if I could get in early to get it fixed right away.

Before heading over, I checked on line and saw that there were no scheduled repair appointments and that it was going to be $89 to have the work done.

I was waiting outside when the door opened at 10 am. The guy opened the door and turned around without saying anything to me. As I walked up to the counter there was another guy with close-cropped hair and a goatee. He just kind of stared at me, so I said good morning to him. He just kind of looked at me for a bit and finally mumbled “morning” under his breath.

I told him I need to get my Iphone screen fixed and he said it was going to be $109 plus tax. I said that I had been online and that it said $89. I asked if he could just go ahead and give me the online price.

He said nope and just kind of stared at me again. Finally I asked him if I went online with my cracked phone and registered would I be able to get the $89 price. He said yes, again with the same weird, grumpy attitude.

I thought this was a really poor way to do things. He had a paying customer right in front of him, who knew about the discount and yet he was going to make me going online, standing right in front of him, in order to get the discount.

I went ahead and did it, because I needed to get the work done. But I’ll definitely be looking for an alternative place for this kind of work in the future.

I went in to have my iPhone screen repaired, and the customer service was terrible. I dropped my phone off and when i returned the screen was fixed but now internally my home button on my iPhone was floating around in the background of my phone and was no longer working. I was told by an employee named Arron whom apparently was only in training for 4 days that needed to take my phone to Apple have them repair It and that I could bring my receipt back to their manager on Monday and he would reimburse me. I asked him to call his manager curt back and ask him to discount my screen replacement for the inconvenience. He was rude to me and said that he didn’t have his managers number and neither did anyone in the store. I paid full price and left upset. I then called the Gilbert store and spoke to Alex who was very helpful and had the other mangers number for the store i originally visited and gave him (Curt) a call. I then went back into the store on power and was greeted by Justin and and Dillion who got curt on the phone as well, and finally got to speak to someone. He assured me that he would cover the cost of the screen and the home button when he returned on Monday. My issue wasnt even that they messed up my phone It was the customer service in general. I had two toddlers with me and It was ridiculous to me that there was no store manager or no one with authority to make override decisions or have someone to call to get the authority.

Batteries+ repaired the screen on my phone, it was done well and they completed the work in the time frame they quoted. Although they quoted one price on the phone with an $10 off if I made an appointment, which I did, but they charged me a higher price then deducted the $10 discount. I didn’t pay attention the the receipt until several days later & didn’t go back to complain. So be sure to get a firm price on the repair.
