Unprofessional. $75 lost.

They were brought a computer to repair it, the computer did not work when entering and did not work when leaving. In case they perform repair work of electronic items they are very superficial and simple, for those who are not aware, if a motherboard is burned it can be repaired by identifying the problem and replacing the damaged components, maybe someone usually goes and tells you that your device is damaged and accepts it but I am a computer engineer I studied 4 years and master the subject and I know that a better job could have been done.

So, I arrived knowing that the mother’s drive was damaged and I left knowing that the motherboard was damaged and with $75 less so if you are going to repair something that needs professional hand they will definitely go somewhere else

One of best experiences I have had. Don’t waste your time going to best buy for computer issues. They are over priced and many times inexperienced to solve your problems. I would say with Dave at Ufixit when you walk in the store….do not judge a book by its cover. It is a very basic environment but the brains behind the operation is amazing. I have been in education for 35 years dealing with computer issues and running my own organization. UFIXIT is a gem stone. Also his prices are beyond reasonable. This is my IT guy for life.
