Handed in my Rog Strix g13 gaming laptop (mother board issues + graphics card issues) and was told that spare parts are coming in the mail and should arrive anytime from a week, whilst also being told an extremely vague price point for repair, “anywhere from $200- 600”. I Waited around a month and a half-ish and was told that the piece hasn’t come in and was handed back my laptop after charging me $60 to literally babysit my laptop… I understand that this fee is to pay the workers for their time to open up the laptop and diagnose it but if you go anywhere else they will charge not even half that amount for same service and will give you a proper explanation to what is wrong with device instead of just “Broken GPU”.

I then went to a different local repair shop up the road (On the Go Laptop and Phone repair, would highly recommend over this business) and they fixed my device in a matter of 4 days (including the time it took to ship over spare part and time used to diagnose my laptop). I was also told from on the go repair shop that screws were missing from my laptop upon opening it after Fix spot “attempted” to repair device… Bad service, extremely unprofessional communication, all they will do is store your laptop in the back and do nothing to it until you pay them $60 to give it back to you. Horrible service will never come back again.

EDIT: They have threatened me over SMS regarding this review forcing me to take down the review or else they will take “legal action”… what a joke.

EDIT 2: The other repair shop kindly let me know about the missing screws so your response is clearly a complete lie, I’m also going to attach evidence to my claim of your terrible communication towards me and the status of my laptop. Please view below, and stop lying to customers.

Don’t fall for it, you will regret it big times, they are dishonest, rude and a professional scam artist.

So I booked online for my Surface Pro 4 for a battery replacement on their website.

They broke my screen in the process, instead of replacing the screen at their cost like anyone with accountability would, they want me to pay for a screen replacement on top.

When I said they are responsible since they broke it, the guy said I “accused” him of damaging my laptop and refused to service my laptop altogether, he won’t give my laptop back unless I pay a $60 service fee.

I had to call the police at the end, and they also called the police while I was on the phone with them and he accused me of trespassing, absolutely disgusting and shocking service.

Still $500 out of pocket from both battery and screen replacement.

Stay safe and take note of this scam alert, hopefully some authority will shut down this scheme at some point.

Edit 1: After posting this review, the owner of the business is threatening to sue me for telling the truth, shameful.

Edit 2: The other store iCanFixIt who fixed the mess you created has confirmed your poor service and skill caused damage to my device, you won the case purely on technicality and the difficult burden of proof in a civil case, not because you are not at fault. It appears you threaten everyone who gives you a poor review.

Bad customer service. They fixed a small issue 2 weeks ago for a very high price (200$), pretty easy to fix but if you don’t have the tools to do it yourself you rely on this kind of businesses. They didn’t fix it properly cause the laptop had the same problem again 2 weeks later. I went to ask for the 6 months warranty and they claim for the ticket. When I told them I had lost it, they offer another solution but they didn’t stick to it, knowing the timing couldn’t be worse since I was leaving the country the next day. Even though the store was empty and I had the evidences which proves it was the same issue, they made up some excuse about the data protection policy (when he knew i was the same customer) to avoid fulfil the warranty.

So they basically abused on the price of a small repair, and they couldn’t live up to the expectations of a decent customers service. Not cool Mohswn.
