Went here yesterday at the QV in Melbourne store to find a case for my samsung S9+.

Lady store assistant was on a Skype call and only answered when we asked for some help.

We asked if she had any phone cases for my phone which she replied “No, none”.

While we were waiting for some service we found a selection of cases with labels on stating they were Samsung S9 cases so I replied that she had some and can we take a look.

The lady abruptly got up and said that she had none and that she didn’t want to sell them to me!

Then when I physically showed her the cases in the displays she said that she could sell me it for $45.

After explaining that she just told me she had none, then said that she did but wouldn’t sell them to me as they were the last ones she would have to ring head office to get approval for selling them. She said she wouldn’t sell them to to me as she insisted that I wouldn’t pay $45 for the case! Money was not a problem and I would have happily paid her money for the case as I needed one ASAP.

She was extremely Rude! Unprofessional and would rather be on a call talking to her friends and family back home!

For such a small shop that relies on passing traffic and small sales, this was shocking and extremely aggressive behaviour!

UPDATE: I have never been able to use this laptop again due to the damage they caused. Have to sell for parts as they were not willing to help me with resolving the issue that they caused. The worst service I have ever experienced.

I don’t ever write bad reviews but have felt necessary to do so in this situation. First of all, once they diagnosed the problem, they told me my laptop was no longer at QV and instead said it was now in box hill. They then didn’t provide any information for how I could get my laptop back and i just had to wait a week for my laptop to somehow get back to qv. I took my macbook to get a problem fixed and when they diagnosed the problem and told me the cost, I said I would rather get it done through Apple. I would assume I would then get my laptop back in the same condition as I gave it to them but instead my laptop doesn’t close properly and they have cracked open the bottom part without fixing it. It turns out the issue is covered by Apple (which they didn’t tell me about), and now I’m worried I won’t be eligible because they have left my laptop like this. Definitely would suggest you do not go here for laptop problems.

Came here for a simple screen repair for a Google pixel 5a which cost me $500 and took 3 weeks to complete. I had been quoted $400 originally which I was very unhappy about already because it is quite pricey however when I got the phone back, it was completely unable to connect to wifi or with my Sim card which I know for sure worked before hand because I could still use the screen despite the damage and was quoted $260 for this extra repair despite it being entirely their fault which I could negotiate down to $100. Considering that I could have replaced the phone for under $400, it is ridiculous and extortionate for a simple screen replacement and I am extremely unhappy with the results and price of the service and wouldn’t recommend anyone repair their phone here. Clearly not a quality establishment.
