Screen stopped working on my MSI laptop so I dropped my laptop here to get the screen looked at/fixed. These guys had good reviews so I thought why not, I’ll try them out.

The communication/customer service skills here are horrible, I had to chase them up 3 or 4 times just for a status update and not once was I contacted by them with an update.

When I finally did get an answer I was told the screen was gone and I needed a new one, I was told this screen is very hard to find and it would be very expensive (approx $800) and take up to 6-8 weeks to order in, I said fine just do it. The tone I got over the phone was that this job is too hard and they didn’t really want to perform the work.

Another 3 weeks passed and still no word from them……
So I called only for them to inform me they couldn’t fix it…. I said fine I’ll come pick it up.

I picked up my unrepaired laptop a week ago and located the make and model# of the screen and found a replacement online myself for under $200, the replacement screen came today which I just installed myself. It now works perfect.

What an absolute waste of time going to these guys……

Edit: God it gets worse…. Now they are trying to call my review fake. Great customer service guys….
I dropped the Laptop off on the 4th April and picked it up on 10th July at 11:15am, look it up on your system.

Edit 2: Now saying they can’t find me on the system….I’m not surprised by that at all if you can’t even manage to swap a simple laptop screen.
I’m giving an honest review of my disappointing experience and instead of getting to the bottom of it and improving on why this happened or apologizing I’m getting called a liar, nice one guys.
Last name Carne, MSI G66 Stealth laptop, look it up again guys and discuss it with whoever was assigned to my case. But you’ll probably just reply again and say you “can’t find me in the system”….
