Awful service. Was recommended to come here after my MacBook turned off and couldn’t be turned back on as it was stuck in an update loop. The guy was so rude, dismissed my concerns and basically shrugged his shoulders and told me it would cost 2-3k to recover the data and I’d have to pay $80 for him to even look at the laptop. The reviews on this site aren’t lying and I’ve told Apple I have no idea why they recommend this god awful place. Thankfully the data recovery place was a lot more helpful, only charged me $250 to recover my data and after a wipe of my laptop I was back online and getting work done. Thanks for telling me that my laptop was basically gone and when I told you I knew what the issue was and you said “is that your opinion or Apples” and I said that it was fine I just needed to get past the loop you dismissed my concerns. Well turns out I was right and that there are tonne more people out there that are more helpful and professional than this dump. AVOID!!!!!
The man on the phone basically said “We won’t do it for free, how do we know you didn’t damage it”. ???? No offer to look into it, no assistance whatsoever.
I would say for straight up tasks they’re ok, but any issues with their service, they won’t take responsibility whatsoever.
Edit: Further to below response, predictably, your reply was that there were no records of my correspondence with you regarding this issue, yet somehow you have a record of my replacement. Evidently, you should have kept better records. As your reply shows, I reiterate that my experience is that this store will take NO responsibility whatsoever for any DAMAGE THEY CAUSE.
The senior female technical expert exuded confidence, delivering a response with an air of superiority: we cannot fix, also do not want to try to help! bang on! What a good job!
From their response, it can be inferred that they have never attempted to consider the issue from the consumer’s perspective. Perhaps making money as an Apple authorized dealer is easy, blaming everything on Apple, not learning from Apple’s service standards, but certainly adopting Apple’s arrogance. Giving a negative review is not unjust at all.
Another thing, before visiting your store, I called in advance to inform about my computer issues and current state. No one informed me that you were powerless to help; on the contrary, the girl insisted convincingly that I visit as soon as possible. Apparently, the customer’s travel time is of no concern to you!
