JB Hi-Fi in Banora Point | Best Phone, Laptop, and Computer Repair Services at Affordable Prices | Quick Fixes

I’ve been buying electronics over the last 10 years periodically at Tweed JB. Initially I got great service from Sabahn? Hopefully I spelt that correctly. The last 12 months especially has been disappointing especially when speaking over the phone looking for a competitive price for an item. Like everyone, I’m after a competitive deal. Convenience dictates that I would prefer to shop at the closest electronics store, even over and above online purchases. The last 2 times I’ve called Tweed JB, I’ve been astounded at the lack of hunger from the salespeople. The website says to ask for a deal. In most cases, I already have a very good idea of the price for the item I’m chasing. So it’s about convenience for me. Recently, 2 times, the salespeople neglected to even try to offer the same price or a better price than the nearest competitor. When they gave their price and I said “no sorry”, they just abruptly hung up instead of chasing the deal. I did many years in electrical retail and was amazed at how lacklustre this experience was. I’ve had a couple of good experiences in the last 3 years at JB Tweed, but it seems some of the staff are too cool for school these days. I chased every deal during my time in retail and was rewarded fairly. Sign of the times, perhaps?

Top marks for one of the best Stores at Tweed City. I will choose JB HiFi over other appliance Stores just because of the great Staff and service.
What’s ‘Not’ to love about this Store!
From the sales, specials & variety of items…. to the really awesome Staff. I can’t express enough how really GOOD this Store is. Seriously, why go somewhere else with sub-par service when you can have polite, knowledgeable and happy staff to serve you? A massive Shoutout to Joel and Will who went above and beyond with an order of mine. Also Kudos and a big ‘thank you’ to Michael the esteemed Store Manager who came onboard and personally sorted out my order. Now I can see ‘why’ the Staff are so nice! Politeness goes a long way… both from Staff and the customer. Only once, have I had an incident with a Staff member which unfortunately wasn’t in line with JB HiFi’s service. She no longer works there (which wasn’t my doing). I’m hoping JB HiFi looks after this Store and lets everyone know how much they are ‘appreciated’. I will add this post to my other Review platforms…

Good sized store with a great array of tech.
The service is questionable depending on who you get but generally, fine enough.

Their largest downfall however is the cleanliness. I have been in here multiple times and it never appears as though they have cleaned at all. The demos are just gross. It’s hard to capture in images but it’s apparent that they are never wiped down or even dusted. All of the tvs have a thick layer of dust on their base. The floors are always covered in random debris – most of which is large enough to pick up but rather looks like it’s been kicked under the displays.
It’s a real shame as I’ve always been keen to try out your new demos but it’s just a bit too gross for me…
