Rarely, rarely … I would leave a negative review. Macca’s does a better job than the staff here at JB Rousehill.

In a space of a week, had gone in twice – 1st on a Friday where the male at checkout was disinterested in assisting (like sorry, for coming into the store and wanting to spend money) then came back on a Sunday and my lord, the Aussie caucasian pale skin looking guy at checkout could not have been anymore lifeless. No greeting, no conversation, and did not offer to send my receipt to email (but had offered to the 3 customers in front). The line to be served was that long, and you have 1 attendant, the other an Asian female could not have been any more rude to the family she was serving.

At some stage, we have all been employed in Customer Service but 2 grown ups well into 30’s dressing as though they’re in an Emo/Hobo looking era should have some basic customer service skills.

If you have no interest in assisting or welcoming the public to spend, so that you are essentially kept in a job – might need a career change.

There are some floor staff, that are helpful but don’t expect anything drastic.

On a side note, ended up going to JB Hi-fi Mt Druitt, probably same size store but guaranteed good customer service.

I went to purchase an item from the home appliance section, which required a customer support agent to retrieve it from the warehouse. I waited about 20 minutes for the agent to finish with another customer, but he left for a different section, promising to return but never did.

I approached the payment desk twice, and they called for help via the PA system, but no one responded. Meanwhile, I noticed some idle customer support agents nearby. When I spoke to the store manager, she apologized, stating they were under-resourced and busy. I pointed out idle personnel, but she had no answers beyond her apology. She also mentioned that their agents can help any customer on any section and not restricted to specific section, but I didn’t notice any agent who was willing to help.

I regularly shop at other JB Hi-Fi stores and have never had such a poor experience. This store seems to epitomize poor customer service.

I will not return to this store and will not recommend it to others.

I went in looking for a kindle. As soon as we walked in we were not greeted as the lady working the door was more interested in talking to another co-worker who was sitting down.

I spent a couple of minutes looking around the store as i couldnt find the kindles. The majority of staff that walked past us just stared and went to talk to other co-workers.

I ended up calling out “excuse me” to a worker who did walk past me and he completely ignored me and walked straight past.

I then had managed to find the kindle i was after and it wasnt until i made eye contact with a different worker did he come over from having a conversation with another 3 co-workers and assisted me.

Very disappointed in the lack of service provided today.
