Issue with Repair.

We had a Pixel 6 Pro screen repaired less than 6 months ago, today the screen has developed a fault where it is flickering green and the touch is unable to be used.

When I called Phone Ninja to report the new fault with their service/ repair, without even assessing the device, they claim it is due to damage. The phone was never dropped after receiving the replacement screen, so that was an unfair judgement.

We fear that Phone Ninja rejects liability for their services and repairs, however we are determined to have the faulty LCD screen repaired under the Australian Consumer Law. As it states:
When a product or service has a major problem, consumers can choose between a refund or replacement.
What determines a Major Problem? When; it can’t be used for its normal purpose, or another purpose the consumer told the seller about before they bought it, and can’t easily be fixed within a reasonable time.

We have now dropped the device off to Phone Ninja, and are hoping to have a resolution from the manager Brad.

Absolute legends. I took my broken computer screen into a phone repair place in the city where they held it for 3 days without touching it. I took it back, took it to Phone Ninja, and they had it ready by the next day for about $100 cheaper. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable too. My laptop is now in perfect condition and my broken charger port works too, which I didn’t even mention to them!! 10/10 100% going back if necessary.

The SIM tray was stuck in phone and nothing was working. i went to phone ninja expecting they might have a miracle – and they did! The guy at the front was very helpful and he got the tray for within minutes. Thank you very much for your help. I would definitely recommend phone ninja for any phone/tablet troubles.
