As my equipment is in the Fyshwick shop and Tracey (who is from Nowra – this is important for any others reading through reviews like myself) has been the first point of contact twice when contacting the Fyshwick store. I am going to upload this review to Fyshwick as she is representing them.

In the two times I have spoken with Tracey, both have been quite unpleasant. To clarify, my job (Hisense TV) is a return to JB Hi-Fi that has been sent here for further inspection for a flickering issue that has now been escalated due to being unable to replicate. First call I let slip and assumed I had been the rude one as I was told I had no job there and this was my first time dealing with the company. I admit, I was a bit dry after being told I had no job with them and the lack of care factor I had received from the lady on the other end. – I was thinking, where is my TV? That phone call actually caused me to loose faith in the Fyshwick shop as a whole. Tried both name and mobile number with nothing. When told it was a JB job she found it somehow and I ended up feeling like it was my fault that it was booked incorrectly. Anyway, let it go as everyone has bad days and I’m not perfect either.
Second call, Mobile and name returned nothing, so advised it is a JB Hi-Fi return and exact same thing happened again. The answer given was “well we don’t have a job for you” yes you do. The next great answer I received when I said the name of the tech who had reached out, she responded with “well he might not accept your call” – yeah awesome. This time, even less effort than the first call and the interaction was awkward like she was expecting me to just accept it and hang up. No idea how it was found the first time. think I named the tech and she patched me through, although I am not certain here. I had about had enough of her at this point and asked if she was always this rude, she responded with “are you?” I then said “I’m putting through a complaint, what’s your name?” to which she responded with “goodbye” then put me back on hold. funnily enough the tech Iv been dealing with then answered the phone a short moment later and the job was escalated.

I’m writing this on behalf of my mum who had engaged you to service her broken down washing machine.

The technician was quite helpful and she didn’t have an issue with him.

Where the 1 star comes from is the lady on the customer service line. She called chasing up on a quote – the job was booked in for Monday and was told that she would have a quote later Monday afternoon.

Fast forward to Wednesday morning and still no call so my mum called this morning was quite polite and just stated that she was querying where the quote was. The lady on the phone was rude and berated my mum telling her that no quotes were given on the day and she would have to wait to 24 hours. My mum tried to explain that it was almost 48 hours but the lady just kept yelling and speaking over the top of my mum.

Finally got the quote but have decided to not go ahead because of this experience. Customer service can make or break and the customer service here is atrocious. Do not recommend dealing with this rude lady over the phone.

I have an LG washer dryer combo that was not drianing. I had Alex come diagnose and then come back to fix once the parts had been ordered and arrived. Alex was awesome! He was quick, super knowledgeable, and friendly. I will definitely be getting any works done though tech1 and asking for Alex.
