Brought a laptop from a nice gentleman who said he can’t use his computer since it came back from another computer store and sold it as is. apon checking the SSD I notest the sticker was not lined up properly as you could see where it use to be so I pulled it off looking for any sings of tampering as that’s what the blue screen of death was pointing to I noticed the team has tampered with the Nand chip as seen is the photo you can see the flux around the chip real bad like it was never cleaned off and also you can read the word SAMSUNG on the Nand chip so with Toshiba’s help they confirmed the SSD had seen tampered with the Nand chip was swapped and this is the reason for the bsod pointing to the SSD’S I/O dropping…..

do not trust at all if I was the owner at the time this happened I would be sewing…….

There aren’t that many computer stores (For parts or services) in Tasmania sadly, so decided to pop in one day to have a look around. It’s a nice store, not much stock on the shelves as far as variety goes but I can’t assume they’d be able to stock that many items compared to a store on the mainland which is fair.

Part of the back wall is see-through allowing one to see “out the back” where I’m guessing all their repair/upgrade jobs happen. Reading the numbers they have at least like 40 separate stations which is impressive. I’m assuming that’s where most their business happens in comparison to sales in the showroom.

Had 2 staff members ask if there was anything I needed which was nice.

Last month I came down from the Gold Coast to visit my family for about a week. I had lots of wedding photos on my laptop that I had to show them. I realised that I only had about 10% battery left and that I had left my laptop charger at home by mistake.
I rang these guys up & they said to bring the laptop in to the store, we may have a cord to help you out. They found one and said I could leave it there overnight to charge the battery up to 100%.
These guys helped me out so much & I appreciate everything that they did for me.
