I am absolutely disappointed with cex and their lack of support. I was looking at selling multiple items and was trying to get advice so I tried to call. No number listed. Find the store number to receive an automated message to go online. Go online no answers there so I raise an enquiry. Send my message and get an auto response that I will hear back in 24 hrs. Been 2 days and no response. Meanwhile I phone eb games at morayfield and the lovely Emily spends over 20 minutes helping me and giving me every bit of information she can. Funny how your reply to my review comes in quicker than your response to your Web pages. If you check correctly your colleague is not within the time frame and not only that they didn’t answer anything instead wanted to ask a million questions. Hence why I tried to call. Again for customer service I recommend eb games who still give a shout out to these guys and send them business.

Absolute scam artists. We took consoles and controllers in to sell. The bloke told us one of the consoles didn’t work so couldn’t sell it to us – odd but fair. The other was missing the power cable so we said we’d find it and return. He took our controllers and we went home. Checked the “broken” console at home at it worked perfectly fine. We went back to the store and the same bloke said he couldn’t buy the consoles because they had no controllers. Despite the fact he had already purchased the controllers from us and not once did they mention this would impact us. Complete entrapment. Absolutely dodgey and disgusting stuff. Do not sell to these folks, go anywhere else.

I went in there earlier in the day to buy a game and they could not find the disc, the tall woman in there was very unpleasant and rude I asked if I could just leave my number if the disc turns up and she just said ‘oh no we don’t do that it’ll turn up when it turns up’ she should not be serving customers with that attitude. But I click and collected the same game almost straight after and it shown up immediately. Every other employee was nice and shown great positivity to every other customer
