This would have to be the most inept business I have ever had the misfortune of having to deal with. Pioneer told me the parts to fix my head unit was $152, these thieves charged me $487 + labour. I was told it would take a week to get the parts, 3 months later I’m still waiting for it to be repaired. Spoke to pioneer and they said they have the parts. So these peanuts are purposely not fixing the head unit and pioneer have done nothing. Do not use this company for any reason they are liars and thieves. Because it’s a Pioneer product they are the preferred repairer. I will never buy a pioneer product. If you call Pioneer don’t speak to Joe at customer service. Just a blatant liar who does nothing.
I have since been contacted by the owner of European Electronics to discuss the issues that I’ve had. He was fantastic and apologised and explained the issues they had with pioneer which I can understand.
He spoke to Pioneer and rather than repairing my head unit he negotiated anew Pioneer Head unit. He was fanatic professional and had the issue sorted within 5 days. Certainly changed my thoughts about he’s company. Only issue was it was clear he spoke he’s staff because I received an icy reception when I picked up the unit. PS I am extremely appreciative of what European Electronics did to get a new head unit. But I’d never buy a pioneer product again. This new unit is very poor quality and outdated. Thank you Angelo
