Monday 27th March 2023, I came into Mirco Ed today with my Father, we were after 2 Nylon Clips which hold down the CPU. We were served by a short male, we asked him if had any of these clips, he said, I will go and check my Junk box. He came back out out with a second hand fan, which had the clips that we wanted. He changed the clips over(x2) and the Heat Sink Mounts, which we did not want. I then said, how much do we owe you, he said 49.. thinking 49 cents for 2 second hand clips out of the Junk box, no it was $49.00… He replied, we charge $49.00 an hour.. come on, this was a 10 min job..he then said, I will do it for you for $ 39.00.. My father, joked and said, he was in the wrong business..LOL. Both our mouths fell to the floor, how can you charge someone $39.00 for (x2) 2nd hand clips and out of the junk box! This is down right robbery & absolutely disgusting!!

Price was fair for a small outlet. It was more of a convenience as it was close to home and a whole lot cheaper than another computer shop at Morayfield. I ended up getting some good helpful info from the bloke that worked here. He made my visit worthwhile. He has so much subject knowledge for computers and operating systems whilst being understanding of my limited knowledge. If the lady who worked there was the same, I would have given 5 stars. Not all people can draw upon subject knowledge as quickly as others, and some people do talk slower and more relaxed. I just feel she was brash towards me for these factors and fobbed me off to the bloke staff member. This turned out to be a blessing, hence the 4 stars. I feel rude not remembering his name, but please continue to be the way you are ol mate.
