I was coming in here for the past few years and it always seemed like a Band-Aid fix but they were very nice and convenient so I always came back. Except this past 9 months, I’ve been in far too often. 3 times in the past 9 months with new issues and warranty declined. They say that they can’t warrant a new issue with the phone but in truth the phone was beyond repair and they leeched as much money as they could. Today, I went into the competing store on bay st and they stated that the phone could be repaired but it isn’t worth it. They said the motherboard (which was replaced by NextGen on 18th October 2023) was faulty. What I appreciate is the honesty, giving me an option to repair but also making me aware that it was only temporary.

When I came in to address these issues, I was called a liar by one of the workers who was became quite aggressive. Both workers would’ve looked at my phone for about 10 seconds and created an assessment and charge $100+. I expressed this as a concern, worried that in the past they had not properly looked at damages inside phone and made a thorough assessment. The response given was “you have to tell us the issue, if you tell us your screen isn’t working. We won’t look at the battery”. Sorry…but HOW. How am I supposed to know the issue. I can give you the problem but it’s the service that find out the issue and repairs it.

NextGen, has assessed my phone 3 times, I don’t know anything about iPhones or how they work. So as a customer I expect them to assess the issue and fix it. That’s the service. Yet I find myself back in the store with the same ongoing issue.

Seriously recommend the Phone Tailor, these services can easily be abused because most customers are unaware on how the functions of a phone work. At least you can rely on phone tailor for honesty.

I came into this place because my phone was broken, It took a few visits for them to realise what the problem was but each time It was free of charge. They gave me a great offer on not only a new apple screen but a speaker and a screen protector. The workers are very friendly and they are better prices than most phone repair shops. Highly recommend coming here for a good fix.

A lot of phone repair shops will either break your wallet . Not this place. I was pleasantly surprised to meet the gentleman owner of the shop, who changed my laptop display and cleaned my laptop for a greatly affordable price and gave some good recommendations.
