We purchased a SLOT dishwasher at fyishwick Good guys on 9/04/2024 that’s working ineffective. Discussion of fixing has been made prior but agreement for refund has been made upon 19/04/2024 morning at around 9.30am. My parents helped me to take the dishwasher back to the store for refund but was unfairly treated and discriminated base on the nationality and race. The team leader at Fwishwick Goodguys “Michelle” does not understand the chain of discussion we had during the week and bluntly distrust my parent’s word and questions their human dignity/ character. Her word used were along the line of ‘You couldn’t have called/ we couldn’t have agreed to the refund/ you could not prove the conversation was about the return’ even though we showed her our call log and she imply we are lying and she doesn’t even believe her colleague about the situation. The argument was heated as she disbelief my parents and she also threatened to call the police. Not only as she discriminate and being racist she also humiliate and distress my parents in front of all customer and employee. She also states she lodged an aggressive customer report against me. As a matter of fact,we have the refund resolved but her rude behavior is unacceptable.

We recently purchased an oven and cooktop from the store, that was faulty. We returned the goods, and asked for a refund. When processing the refund, they actually ended up charging our account again. They are now claiming that “everything is fine” on their end, but now we have paid $1298 for a product that was only $649 that we don’t even have. Since making them aware of the issue (which wasn’t able to be corrected over a weekend) they have contacted us to say that it will now take a further 10 days to sort it out through the banks. This is NOT good enough. We will be taking this to ACCC should this not be resolved.

Service of the good guys in Fyshwick is the worst. They keep us waiting while 3 mans standing and have chit chat. The delivery guys said our shipping is standard so his job is delivery to our place not to put the fridge in the kitchen for us while when we purchase I have mentioned to the sale men that I require the service that they can bring the fridge in the kitchen for me as it is too big for us to do. By the end, the delivery guys charges us 80 dollar to put the fridge in the place we want. What a rip off.
