Absolutely terrible approach to customer service, especially in a B2B situation, staff members refused to support service warranties provided after incorrectly installing a panel on a 27″ iMac. (Pictures are provided below). Upon the jobs completion, which the company has claimed they have provided “for free” even though it was not stipulated in person or on the provided tax invoice, which they have quoted the total cost to just be the screen unit itself, an obvious attempt to avoid issues with their clients after the fact, our staff member noticed the job was done incorrectly and questioned it immediately to the response “The client won’t notice, it’s fine, don’t worry” this sort of attitude is not something that our business supports in any way, shape or form. After attempts to contact and rectify this situation, we were met with abuse and yelling and a demand that we would have to pay an additional $75 fee for the job to be done properly, this was something they were not willing to budge on, obviously caring more about money than their customer service and reputation. The staff member claimed “I’ve done this for $20, do you think this is enough?” as if their decision to provide the service at a price they, as a business and due to the fact that they did not have to remove the original panel, decided to quote was our fault. I would strongly suggest that no one, consumer or business, invest their time in this clearly money hungry and makeshift operation. We are now forced to waste our time to install the screen correctly, which mind you the only reason we allowed these individuals to conduct this service was to save us a bit of time as they were seemingly willing to offer some form of convenience, something that we definitely regret.

I have been buying service/spare parts from these guys for the last 5+ years and very happy with overall support and quality. If I had a problem with a part they did not question it (after demo) and a replacement offered. They have always given me good advice.
Like any service/repair industry sometimes things don’t go as smoothly as assumed. That’s life when you try save $$$ avoiding top $$$ parts from HP/Dell/Toshiba/Asus/Apple,etc but these guys are fantastic. Without ppl like this in Melbourne repair jobs would take much longer and be far more expensive. (fyi…I’ve been repairing/servicing IT equipment since 1999. 🙂 Thankyou Advanced Notebook Workshop.

Purchased a laptop charger from them on their eBay store. Broke within 8 months which I was really disappointed with especially because it used very lightly. Called and messaged them and they did not help me because the purchase was over 3 months ago. I’d understand if my purchase is a consumable but I would expect a laptop charger to outlast my laptop itself now I need to fork out more money for another one.
